Raw Vegan Recipe – Watercress Soup

If I can and able to I buy my vegetables at farmers market and if I am at walking the woods and climbing the hills I pop to a nearby farm. What I would like to share with you in this post is that since I reset my blueprint whatever I ask for or what my body requires it appears in my life. Many times it takes me few seconds to say oh yeah, that is what I asked for. I bought some watercress from the farmers market and as I was walking home from the woodlands it popped into my mind to research about it. It is believed to be a brain food and beneficial for the nervous system, good for strength and stamina. Therapeutically it is good for coughs, colds, asthma, stiff back, pain, stress, indigestion, weight loss and other health benefits, feel free to research yourself. In the old ages was also believed that the smell of it would drive away snakes and neutralise scorpion venom. It is fascinating how such a fragile plant have can a powerful healing ability. I made this soup in my Vitamix and added a handful of fresh peas, handful of watercress, fresh basil, little avocado oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. I added pumpkin and hemp seeds on the top with pea shoots. You can also add anything else you like. This easy recipe will come in handy when you are not feeling well and being under the weather, it will give you a boost of energy, healing internally and externally.
